Welcome to the Second H2Ports Stakeholders group meeting.
The group aims at promoting the exchange of doubts, knowledge, ideas, experiences and good practices on the use of hydrogen in port-maritime sector. One of the activities of this group is the organisation of a set of thematic meetings during the project in which present the state of the technology and also some inspirational results of ongoing real projects on the use of hydrogen in the sector. More than 55 entities have been invited to participate, including outstanding representatives from both the port-maritime and the hydrogen sector.
In this occasion, the meeting was focused on the potential of the use of hydrogen in the port maritime. The following issues were addressed:
- Maritime fuel deployment scenarios in the future and evolution in time
- A vision for the h2 fuel supplier and the potential use of h2 in maritime environments
- On-board applications through new h2 shipping technologies: engines and tanks
- Hydrogen and fuel cells for port and maritime applications – Lessons learnt from the user´s point of view.
